At Active Vision Club, our members—who are all visually impaired—come together in a warm, friendly, and relaxed environment to enjoy a variety of fully accessible activities. From cookery, exercise, and quizzes to arts and crafts, there’s always something fun and engaging to take part in.
We also welcome guest speakers who provide vital information on important topics such as health and legal services, ensuring our members stay informed and supported. And of course, no club would be complete without a bit of music—we love a good sing-along!
Our club isn’t just about activities; it’s about breaking social isolation and loneliness, creating a supportive community, and boosting confidence and self-esteem. Everyone deserves a place where they feel included, valued, and empowered—and that’s exactly what Active Vision Club is all about!
Our amazing volunteers (most of whom are visually impaired) play a crucial role in running the club—without their dedication and support, this service simply wouldn’t exist. Most of them generously give their time to ensure that every session runs smoothly, creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
