Bradbury Fields Merges with CBI

In recent months the Catholic Blind Institute (CBI) and Bradbury Fields have been engaged in discussions to identify joint working opportunities and how we can ensure that we continue to deliver the best possible services for our communities in the years ahead.

I am delighted to say that Trustees have now agreed to a formal merger of our charities, which will take effect from 1^st October 2021.

Bradbury Fields and CBI have worked closely for decades now so we feel it makes sense to secure the futures of both charities by coming together to make one stronger organisation. Bradbury Fields will join Christopher Grange Residential Care Home and St Vincent’s sensory impairment school by becoming the community service division of CBI.

We are excited for the future and are really looking forward to working with our communities and partners to ensure we continue to thrive and innovate, and provide excellent services in the years ahead.
